Last night, the CAO and Controller of acquiring company asked to be LinkedIn with hubby. He had sat in on hubby's presentation, that day, and they had chatted briefly afterwards. Acquiring company is in town, this week, figuring out how to merge the companies.

That's a good thing, right? I asked hubby, because if you weren't in the realm at all, he probably wouldn't do that, right?

He shrugged, it's probably a good thing.

Would they let him commute? They'd never let him work remotely, he couldn't effectively if he had something similar and a team to manage. But we'd have to deal with his being gone, like all of the time. But like we agreed, we shouldn't leave any stone unturned in his search. And at the end of the day, who  knows? Maybe we'd move, but I really can't worry or think about this now in the hypothetical....
