PS - I just wanted to tell you that I had the most amazing conversation with Belac, tonight, who offered to me that he has Asperger's. We have never suggested that, nor has anyone thought that of him, exactly. However, he told me that he figured it out because of the documentary you had mentioned he'd be seeing today. So, how does that make you feel? I asked him. Okay, he told me, because I have special talents. Yes, you absolutely do! I told him.

We talked a half hour about so many things related to special needs. Also, how he might be able to blend in more than others, and so he had to be even more understanding to the kids who appear more special needs than he and who probably didn't have the benefit of having the strong friendships he has. Of course, in middle school style, we ended up on topics of what it meant to be bisexual and transgender... but these were all good and important conversations to have. 

Thank you so much for such a thorough and thoughtful meeting, yesterday, and to each of you for taking the time to really understand and help Belac. We are so very grateful to each of you!
