Because hubby is my mom's 'friend' I was able to see, tonight, that she announced my father's brother's death on Facebook. And that someone had noted that my mom had personally texted her at 3am about this. Ugh. This is my mom for you right now. And that my mom - thankfully - had apologized for this behavior, directly on her wall. And that my next door neighbor, who I have not had a conversation with in at least a year, maybe two or three, sent her condolences and knew about any of this before me.

That is fucked up Facebook for you. People who are 'friends' who are not at all friends, who supposedly care? They replace her kids, none of whom she befriends and in fact, Unfriended? And she is good with that? Feels good about that? Being liked and noticed by people who know not one God damn thing about her? But she feels loved by her friends and that is enough, like they really give a shit? Their 'condolences'! What facebook fantasy! It is FUCKED UP.
