BEFORE: a kitchen that felt boxed in by peninsula, pillar and above beam
AFTER: removal of fridge wall, new pantry with frosted glass door utilizing space from oversized hall closet, enlarged opening to dining room, where I'm standing. Now basement, mudroom, and family room empty directly into kitchen instead of a dark hallway.
BEFORE: a beam and penninsula interfered with light and flow
AFTER: beam was raised, new windows and skylights, wood floor added to match the rest
