Before bed, an email came to my box. Hubby had sent notes to our parents and I had been cc'ed. We offered up the kids' college account numbers for any future occasion gifts. He has seriously caught the bug, too. We really don't want more stuff. No gadgets, no dust collecting knick knacks, nothing we don't need or use. Not a thing more to take care of. It's wasteful, frankly. How much stuff does one really need? Instead we want college for the kids, experiences out and seeing new things.
Here is a fascinating and inspiring article about the pared down life. Editing is definitely the skill of the century! Not a hard sell for us.
