Brought the kids and dog to the pond, where they finished breakfast and played on the playground as I ran. Every time I lapped around the far end of the pond, I caught a breeze across the water. It was easy to keep an eye on the kids while we all did something good for ourselves. The 9 laps went by so quickly, it was like I hadn't done anything. Did I not go fast enough? Did I miscount?
Why won't I start our days like this, everyday, this summer?
A friend asked. What's going to happen after the 30 days? I don't know, I admitted. But I realize I've already lost count of the days. Every time I want to know how many days I've run, I have to count my blog entries. To my utter shock, I kind of love this running.
